Welcome to HotelGuide Hawaii

Welcome to Metropolitan Networks' HotelGuide for Hawaii/The Big Island.

Hawaii's Big Island is not only the youngest but also the largest of the Hawaiian Islands. It is twice the size of the other Hawaiian Islands put together thanks to Kilauea, the world's most active volcano which continues to add land mass to the island. "The Big Island" is a very diverse island in that it houses 11 of the 13 climate regions. Here visitors can experience tropical rain forests, bone-dry desert conditions and snow-capped mountains all in the course of one day.

We have divided our guide to local accommodations into several geographic areas and alphabetically. You can begin browsing for lodging options in the Hawaii area by selecting one of the options shown below.

· Kona Coast · Kohala Coast
Located on the southern portion of the island's west side, Kona, Nicknamed "The Gold Coast", is known for it's sunny dry climate. Kona also has beautiful beaches and world-class golf courses. Hotels located on the northern part of The Big Island's west side. Kohala offers plenty of beautiful beaches and world-class golf courses.
· Waimea
Located on the northern portion of The Big Island, this area offers something most people do not associate with Hawaii, snow. This is also where the Wild West really started, with the Hawaiian paniolo (cowboy).
